Veteran singer Chandra Kumara Kandanarachchi passed away this morning (March 26).

He passed away while receiving treatment at the Maharagama Cancer Hospital.

He is a popular artist who has delighted fans with songs like Her Smile is Banned, Love Binda Sit Binda, Ganga Nadi Betale, Gama Kandywarai and Hithe Susthasana Jeena.

He was 76 years old at the time of his death.
